Two Men Charged In Jam Master Jay’s Murder
Nearly 18 years since the murder of Jam Master Jay, two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection of the 2002 killing of the Run-MC member.
On Monday (August 17), a federal grand jury indicted Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan, Jr. with murder while engaged in narcotics trafficking and firearm-related murder. Washington, 56, is currently serving a federal prison sentence for robbery, while Jordan, 36, who previously gone to prison for shooting Jam Master Jay’s nephew, was apprehended on Sunday (August 16).
The indictment alleges the Jam Master Jay was involved in drug trafficking with both Washington and Jordan. On October 30, 2002, the two entered Jay’s studio, where Jordan shot Jay in the head and another man in the leg. Jordan, also faces one count of conspiracy and seven counts of distribution of cocaine for alleged incidents in 2017.
