Travis Scott’s is getting lit with Sony PlayStation
On Friday (Oct. 23), PlayStation announced the rapper and his Cactus Jack brand as their strategic creative partners who will help bring their creative expertise to the company’s innovative projects.
In celebration of the new deal, Travis stars in the brand’s latest ad. At the Sony headquarters, the black-and-white clip begins introducing staff members in Cactus Jack t-shirts and sneakers. Travis, who is seen wearing his unreleased Jordan 1 Lows with his signature backwards Swoosh logo and the PS logo on the heel, activates the new PS5 console from its controller before the room begins to shake in slow motion.
“I’m really looking forward to being able to showcase everything that Cactus Jack has worked on with Sony and the PlayStation team” says Travis Scott. He adds, “Most importantly I’m excited to see how the PlayStation fans and family respond, and I look forward to running some games with everybody very soon!”
Sony PlayStation is just one of the many business ventures for Scott which includes Nike, Fortnite, and his most recent,McDonalds.
The new highly-anticipated Sony PlayStation 5 console launches on November 12.
Meanwhile, Travis Scott is currently working on his upcoming album Utopia which is set for a 2021 release. The album has since spawned the No. 1 hit single “Franchise” featuring Young Thug and M.I.A., followed by the Future-added remix. Straight up!
