The Hot Trend in Skull Jewelry

Published

on

Each season brings a new trend or hot fashion item in jewelry, from different colors of gold, to chunky bracelets, to rows and rows of pearls. One hot trend that seems to have stood many, many seasons and only gets hotter seems to be the trend in finding skulls in jewelry items. Whether you find them on chunky chains or dainty earrings or funky rings, they seem to have a home in haute couture runway walks and every day boardwalk strolls.

Chains, rings, pendants, bracelets… all of these items can be enhanced with a big or small skull accessory. Both women and men can wear skulls with ease, as they are trendy in a lot of different ways. A man can go to the office in a suit and tie and have a small skull pendant on a chain inside his shirt collar, or discreetly on his cufflinks that tell of his weekend warrior ways. Or those that wear the heavy silver chains made of skulls through the day can go with a small bracelet skull pendant when out on a date, that tell of his stylish tastes while dressed handsomely. The options are endless.

For women, you may think that skull pendants or belt buckles are not suited. This is far from true! There are so many purses and dresses that are based on the skull design, and women need the jewelry to coordinate with it. Whether you are adding a large skull pendant to your outfit to complement your skull design purse, or have a skull bracelet prominently featured in your power outfit for work, the skull design is so great to work into your ensemble.

You can find pretty skulls in silver featuring colored jewels for eyes, or gold skulls with diamond eyes, or even a skull with diamonds as teeth. The designs are endless, and can be fit into your wardrobe in so many ways. A jewel encrusted skull pendant will sparkle at your neckline at a club; a silver skull ring with red ruby eyes can catch the eye of anyone as you sit at a café or restaurant. The allure of the skull jewelry is that it is both trendy and a little bit risqué. People tend to look twice when you wear it, especially when you pair it with a really snappy suit or gorgeous dress. The bit of Halloween expression on a bit of jewelry can be a pleasant and trendy surprise when you are not expecting it.

So whether you wear a large silver skull ring to a big board meeting or have dangly earrings that sparkle in the sun on your walk on the boardwalk, the stylish nature of skull jewelry is a hot, hot trend that does not seem to be letting up in any way. Each season seems to have more of the trend for both men and women to enjoy. The beautiful designs can illustrate your fun, chic side, or demonstrate your weekend warrior ways. Trendy and stylish, you can’t go wrong with a grinning skull.

DaBaby has been losing major opportunities and money, following his comments that he made at Rolling Loud last weekend, regarding gay men and HIV/AIDS. Seven festivals have cancelled his performances, and even Summer Jam in Denver, canceled their concerts completely, over DaBaby.

Now, a huge record that DaBaby has been part of is slowing down on the radio has well. The Charlotte rapper appeared on Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” remix in late 2020, and has been a worldwide hit.

According to Chart Data and Billboard though, Dua’s solo version of Levitating now accounts for the majority of radio display in the US. DaBaby’s overall steams may start taking a significant hit as well. Dua also condemned his RL comments, days after the incident, as she explained that DaBaby showed a different side than the artist she worked with.

This all comes as DaBaby had a chart-topping single in 2020 with “Rockstar,” feat. Roddy Ricch. His third studio album, “Blame It On Baby,” also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
