A spokesperson released a statement regarding shocking allegations against T.I. and wife Tiny.
On Thursday, entrepreneur Sabrina Peterson made waves on social media after accusing rapper T.I. and his wife, singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris of a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior, sexual abuse and coercion. She described their behavior as well-known, and called on her followers to share their experiences.
Trigger Warning: stories of sexual assault, coercion.
As of Friday dozens of women–some underage at the time–came forward on Instagram, sharing accounts of being recruited to parties in Atlanta and Los Angeles. Upon arrival, the women would have their phones taken away from them. The women were pressured to take large amounts of cocaine and MDMA, coerced into having sex, and threatened and bribed into silence.
On Friday, the couple released a statement to Complex. “Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record,” the statement reads. “And more importantly, want the public to know that they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson. The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action.”
On Friday evening, T.I. took to Instagram to address the allegations.
“No weapon formed against us shall prosper,” he wrote.
Most of the accounts accuse Tiny of an active role of grooming women. Some accuse T.I. of domestic violence against her as well. Some even accuse other celebrities of being involved.
As the statement says, this isn’t the first time Peterson has accused one of the Harrises of violence and intimidation. On Tuesday, she accused T.I. of once pointing a gun at her head. “You put a gun to my head in front of children and I never called the police on you,” she wrote.
On Wednesday, Tiny responded to Peterson’s previous allegations, posting pictures on Instagram of Peterson’s sons at a mentorship program created by T.I. The image is from a February 2019 Facebook post from Peterson’s Glam University page.
“So you want your abuser to train your sons?” Tiny wrote. “He was just Uncle 2 years ago…now when did you say my husband assaulted you? Did you change your mind or change it back?…Stop harassing my family.”
Neither T.I. or Tiny has addressed the allegations that Peterson shared Thursday on their social media accounts.
