Pamela Explains What Happened With “Total”
Pamela Long was a guest on Hip Hop News Uncensored. And, during her interview, she revealed some very interesting things to hosts O’God and SamAnt. While Pamela did not go into details about why Diddy allegedly disbanded the group. She did talk about the false allegations she made against her former husband, Jamie Long, in a report by The Source.
To refresh your memories, Pamela allegedly accused Jamie of sexual assault. The conversation about Jamie and her relationship was discussed on her show “Pam’s World.” Pamela accused Jamie of being abusive. She also mentioned that Jamie allegedly forced himself on her. However, Pamela later recanted her story.
In fact, Pamela issued a public apology to Jamie and his family. Here are her exact words,
“I come before you today with deep regrets concerning a statement that I’m about to make. On October the 20th, 2019 for my show Pam’s World, I made a comment about my ex-husband Jamie Long. And that comment was that he forces himself on women, and right after that I said ‘do you remember that night?’ Basically I was telling the world that my ex-husband forced himself on me sexually, and that was a lie.”
Keep in mind, this situation happened a few years back. We are only mentioning this because Pamela spoke about it. Otherwise, it is water under the bridge. The most important thing to remember is Pamela has made amends for her mistake. Jamie responded to the allegations made by Pamela on “The Breakfast Club.”
“Me and my wife, we’re serious. We’re serious about what we’re doing, we’re serious about the message and I’ve been divorced from Pam for four, five years now. I just feel like it was selfish of her to come out and do something like that because it’s like you discredit what my wife is trying to do, trying to attach your name to something like this,”
Jamie is married to Cyntoia Brown. After serving 15 years in prison for killing her pimp Cyntoia was granted clemency. Cyntoia’s case brought the attention of celebrities such as Kim Kardashian West, Amy Schumer, and Ashley Judd, as reported by CNN News. Shortly after, Cyntoia was released.
Unfortunately, Cyntoia was caught in the middle of the situation between Jamie and Pamela. Therefore, Pamela apologized to Cyntoia, as well. As I mentioned earlier, Pamela has done the honorable thing. Everyone has moved on with their lives. Pamela is in the process of writing a second book. Her first book “Total Exposure, Pieces of Me” was a surprise. But this second book Pamela talks about her life in-depth. Surely, her fans are eagerly anticipating this new book. Another great interview for the books.
