New Music: Uncle Murda “Rap Up 2020”

So long 2020.

Hot off the release of his Don’t Come Outside Vol. 3, Uncle Murda bids farewell to 2020 with his yearly “Rap Up“.

Over a sample Alicia Meyers’ 1981 hit “I Wanna Thank You”, Murda sums up the year for nearly 14 minutes referencing the his personal struggles, the COVID pandemic, his theories behind the vaccine, the loss of Kobe Bryant, Andre Harrell, Fred The Godson, Pop Smoke, and more.

As the beat switches to Luther Vandross’ “Never Too Much”, Murda addresses the Black Lives Matter movement, the countless victims, the Verzuz phenomenon, beefs, and other cultural headlines before announcing that his “2020 Rap Up” will be his final installment. And that’s a wrap.
