Protect Black Women
Megan The Stallion delivered a powerful performance on the season premiere of SNL last night (October 3), hosted by Chris Rock.
Using her debut appearance to advocate the fight for Black women against violence, Megan performed her “Savage (Remix)” on a black-and-white stage with “Protect Black Women” inscribed behind her.
Mid way through, bullets riddled the backdrop as quotes and soundbites from Malcom X and activist Tamika Mallory, who called out Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron over his mistreatment in the murder case of Breonna Taylor projected and aired during a brief intermission. As the stage lit up in red, Meg continued with her epic set before throwing up her fist for the finale.
After appearing in the few skits including “Hello” and “NBA Bubble”, Hot Girl Meg and her fellow hot girls return to the stage alongside Young Thug for the first televised performance of her new single, “Don”t Stop“.
