Habits Can Contribute To Your Success Or Misery

“Why aren’t people successful in life? I can tell you it’s because of habitual habits that diminish their probability of sustainable success. Depending on what they are, our habits will either make us or break us. We become what we repeatedly do.” Sean Covey

The dictionary points out that a habit is a routine of behavior; it’s a fixed way of thinking more or less about something. So if I have a habit of running every morning, exercising, and eating healthy meals every day to keep my body and mind healthy and sharp, then those are good habits. On the other hand, if I smoke cigarettes or vape everyday, which causes harm and many diseases to my body and diminishes my health, then smoking is a bad habit.

I have a saying that “it’s not what you are that holds you back, it’s what you think you are not that holds you back.” We have total control over our destiny, yet don’t pursue it. The start of a habit is what you digest in your mind every minute of the day. Those thoughts, dreams, or visions become part of your subconscious that forms these habits. “We become what we think about” day in and day out. Your mind is the sum total of the habits and thoughts that get into your subconscious. Those thoughts are put into actions, and those actions became habits. Sounds simple, yet why aren’t people successful in life?

John Dryden says, “We first make our habits, and then our habits make us.”

“If you don’t like the results you see every day, then change it. Your habits will determine your future.” – Jack Canfield

So, if you like where you are going, then stay on the path. If not, then change your direction. I have three suggestions.

  1. Read books that will inspire you, that will motivate you, and that will give you purpose. For example, read the Bible (chapters in Proverbs and/or the book Psalm). Read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and/or The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth by John C. Maxwell. Digest these materials day and night. You must be intentional about pouring into your subconscious the pure, the powerful, and the purposeful. Lastly, listen to successful people and study how they form successful habits.
  1. Surround yourself with successful people. There’s a saying, “You are the average of the five people you associate with.” If you hang around highly motivated and successful people, then it will rub off on you. “Remember, your association determines your destination.” – Myles Monroe.

  1. If you are unable to change your habits, then join a men’s or women’s group that not only uplift you but will hold you accountable.

Success comes with deliberate actions and behaviors. These actions and behaviors form habits and routines. When we fail, many times it’s easy to lose confidence within ourselves. You must visualize and believe that you can change bad habits into good habits. Remember, success comes with deliberate actions.

Simple Life Style Changes That Help You Lose Weight

There are a number of reasons many people in our society are over weight. Much of this has to do with life style. Your life style will affect your health and often your weight. So if your life style is adversely affecting you health and weight, you probably want to make some changes.

Some changes that you could make are actually very simple, but will take some will power. These changes include proper exercise and a balanced diet. Exercise is very important and could just mean going out side and taking your dog for a walk. Having a balanced diet could mean including more vegetables and fruits in your diet and reducing your sugar intake.

Exercise means including more physical activities in you daily routine. Many people think of their diet when trying to lose weight. This is appropriate but physical activity is an essential component in weight lose and improving your health. Exercise will help you to burn calories, the calories you take in from the food you eat. Take a walk in the morning before work. Include your dog in this activity as your fury friend also needs the activity. You could also develop a routine consisting of moves that will burn serious calories. These moves could include sit-ups, push-ups, leg lifts and running on the spot. Of course these must be done correctly and at least three or four times a week. This could be done after work, before dinner and would be a great way to freshen up after a long day at work. Another thing to consider is walking or cycling to work, during the warmer months. Walking or cycling to work will also save money when it comes to the cost of running your car. This will also make make getting to work less frustrating. Also consider stretching before work, especially if your job is considered to be physical. Even if you sit at a desk all day long consider stretching before work and during breaks,

Exercise is important, but you will still need a balanced diet which involves consuming food with proper nutrients. This could mean reducing the amount of fast food in your diet and increasing the amount of fruits and vegetables you include in your diet. Include items such as carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, apples, oranges, peaches, bananas, strawberries and blueberries with your daily lunch break. Items high in fiber should be included with breakfast and lunch. Use high fiber bread for your morning toast and your lunch-time sandwich. You could add kidney beans and green beans into your soup. Reduce the amount of red meat you eat and replace it with seafood such as sole or salmon,

The are a number of changes you can make in your daily routine to lose weight. This means coming up with a plan and implementing it. So pick a day to start and go for it. With this in mind there are many excellent resources on the internet that can help you with a weight loss program. But remember you need to stick to the plan.

Fat Joe called Lil' Mo and Vita dusty bitches and told Ja Rule he had to go to the crack house to find themIn his career, Fat Joe is known for unity, and for supporting others. This is what led to his beef with 50 Cent, sticking up for Ja Rule. Also, this is why he did Verzuz, with Ja Rule, to help his brother get his props.

Fat Joe, before the battle, made it clear he was holding nothing back, though. Repeatedly, he told Ja Rule he was going to “get this work.” While he promised it wouldn’t get to The L.O.X./Dipset level, Joe did say it’d get crazy.

When Ja Rule talked about his features, Fat Joe came with some wild insults. He referred to Lil’ Mo and Vita as “dusty b*tches” and told Ja he had to get them from the crack house. Because of this, people are upset with Joe, saying Ja and Remy Ma should have checked him over this.
