Drake has just broken another Billboard record. On Monday (July 27), Billboard reports the Toronto rapper charted his 39th Top 10 Billboard hit, which currently is the most of any artist in any genre in its 62-year-old history.
Drizzy achieved the historic milestone this week after his two DJ Khaled collaborations “Greece” lands at No. 3 and “Popstar” hitting No. 8. Both songs also gives Khaled his fifth and sixth Top 10 hit.
Drake now currently leads Madonna who holds 38 Top 10s. According to Chart Data, artists trailing behind include The Beatles (34), Rihanna (31), Michael Jackson (30), Mariah Carey (28), Stevie Wonder (28), Janet Jackson (27), Elvis Presley (25), Lil Wayne (25), Taylor Swift (25), Whitney Houston (23), Paul McCartney (23 ), Rolling Stones (23), and Eminem (22).
In addition, Drizzy’s record for most debuts in the Top 10 now exceeds to 25 as well as the most career Hot 100 entries of 224 and Top 40 entries of 113. Let’s hear it for The Boy.
