Donald Trump Finally (Kind Of) Admits Joe Biden Won The Election

The soon-to-be-former president stipulated Biden’s victory was due to rigging and voter fraud, claims that have yet to be substantiated by any evidence whatsoever.

Donald Trump may be kicking and screaming his way out of office. But his petulance has finally gotten the best of him.

After a week and change of refusing to acknowledge his loss in the 2020 election (by a margin that has widened each day since it was called on Saturday, November 7th,) and years of waging war on reality itself, Trump seemed to (kind of) admit defeat to Joe Biden on Twitter this morning. “He won because the Election was Rigged,” the president wrote, going on to repeat false claims of vote observers being barred from polling sites and vote-counting machines switching votes to favor his Democratic opponent. The rant, of course, only began there. After reposting a series of segments from Fox News (who he raged against earlier in the week for not fairly covering his failed legal challenges in battleground states,) Trump appeared to catch his misstep. “He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go,” the president wrote.

All of his disdain and willful distortions of fact-based anything culminated at the hilariously underattended, “Million MAGA March,” which drew a few thousand Trump fanatics, including members of QAnon and the white nationalist group, the Proud Boys to the streets of DC on Saturday. The demonstration took place outside of the White House, incited pockets of violence, and led to dozens of arrests. Only you’ll notice Trump supports were met with no rubber bullets, tear gas, or riot gear, despite provoking attacks on/from counter-protesters.

Additionally, on Saturday, outlets officially called the races in Arizona and Georgia, expanding Joe Biden’s electoral college lead to 306. Recounts are expected in both states but are almost certain to remain in Biden’s favor.
