Bun B is as Houston as they come. If you haven’t seen him at an event around town, are you even from here?

The UGK rapper will once again be celebrating during Bun B Weekend, which includes multiple events around the city. He’ll also be spotlighting mental health awareness.

Here’s the lowdown:

  • New music: EP release featuring Yella Beezy, Maxo Kream and Young Dolph. Details forthcoming on a listening party and T-shirt pop up.
  • Trill Brunch: Featuring Chef Roble’. 11 a.m.-3 p.m Saturday at One Fifth, 1658 Westheimer. $75.
  • Rolling Skate Party: Lace ’em up. 6-10 p.m. Sunday at Houston Just Rolling Skating Rink, 7505 S Sam Houston Pkwy E. $25.
  • UGK Karaoke: Bun B will provide the instrumentals. 7-11 p.m. Sunday at Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel. $25-$40.

The Houston Astros will also celebrate Bun B Day. He’ll throw the first pitch and present three more hats he designed for the team at the Sept. 5 game at Minute Maid Park.
