Shortly after teasing the public with his posts on Instagram, Bas surprisingly dropped a new track and a video. The single is called “The Jackie” and features J. Cole and Lil Tjay.
The track is produced by T-Minus and came accompanied by a new video the same day. In it, the three rappers can be seen cruising down the streets of New York. The track starts with Bas’ verse, followed by Tjay and J. Cole.
Though this is the first appearance for Cole since the release of his latest album “The Off-Season”, it is a very active year for him.
Lil Tjay is also making his moves lately. He successfully released an LP in April, as well as a few guest appearances with Grizzley and G Herbo for their projects.
Though Bas had not shown anything like an album since 2019, he said he is planning to have one this year. He also appeared in several tracks of Cole’s The Off-Season.

Drake has teamed up with Toronto rapper Smiley for a new song called ‘Over the Top’. Listen to the track, which was produced by Tay Keith, below.
Smiley, who is a rapper from Drake’s home city of Toronto, has been an “inspiration” for Drake in the past, specifically for his 2018 album ‘Scorpion‘.
The collaboration comes as fans wait for more news about Drake’s forthcoming album ‘Certified Lover Boy’, which the artist said earlier this month was being mixed and was “on the way”.
The rapper has been teasing the record for some time and had originally planned to release it in January 2021. Check out the new song below which follows Drake’s feature on Brent Faiyaz’s latest single ‘Wasting Time‘. Produced by Tay Keith.
