6ix9ine won’t give his homeless father money, because he abandoned him

Published

A few weeks ago, a clip surfaced and was obtained by Page Six, of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s father in a homeless shelter. The two supposedly haven’t spoken since 6ix9ine was in third grade, and his father claims that he’s been in a shelter for two years, and 6ix9ine hasn’t offered any money.

6ix9ine’s father also said that the Brooklyn rapper gives everyone else money freely. Many wondered if 6ix9ine would ever address these claims, and he just has, in a new interview with Akademiks.

6ix9ine says that his father is a “crackhead,” and abandoned him at birth. 6ix9ine added that his father continues to smoke crack in the shelter, but he’s the one getting the negative publicity.

“Everybody knows I was abandoned at birth. Everybody knows that my biological father abandoned me at birth Right now, he’s in a shelter smoking crack. The story of me not giving money to a crackhead who abandoned me at birth is getting more publicity than the positive things. Why? Because it’s a trend to hate me.”

6ix9ine’s father was also at his racketeering trial in 2019, where he asked a judge to not hit him with a hard sentence. 6ix9ine feels that his father just wanted him home so he could give him money.

“So I could be free and give him money? The narrative will always be, let’s make Tekashi 6ix9ine like the worst human being in the world but [they] just look at it the way [they] want to look at it.”

Check out 6ix9ine speaking on his father with Akademiks below.

Soulja Boy claims to be the first rapper to wear BapeThese past few years, Soulja Boy has become the source of jokes, for his claims of being the first to do a lot of things. A lot of what he says is outlandish, but he did inspire quite a bit, too. But, his recent interview with Complex Sneakers saw him say he was the first rapper to wear Bape.

Late, in 2005, Bape was actually launched with Pharrell as a co-founder. Many rappers wore the brand, in support of the popular producer. Actually, future fashion mogul, Kanye West, helped to make the brand popular, within the hip hop culture.

Soulja Boy has been trending, ever since the interview clip of him claiming to be the first rapper wearing Bape dropped. The fans on Twitter have come with all kinds of jokes, due to his claim. These jokes stem from Pharrell being a co-founder of the brand, when it dropped in 2005, two years before Soulja debuted.
